Dynamic link browser
Use the dynamic link browser to select the source node or attribute of the link from the information model of the project. The content of the dynamic link browser depends on the data type of the variable that opened the browser, as well as the variable selected in the browser. For example, the
Format
options appear only if the variable that opens the browser has a String of LocalizedText data type. No other data types display the Format

Item | Name | Description |

 | Basic | Display the project nodes that you can use to create a dynamic link. This tab is disabled for complex dynamic links. |
 | Advanced | Display the complex dynamic link editor in the dynamic link browser. See Complex dynamic link editor. |
 | Path | Target of the selected variable. |
 | Search | Filter nodes. |
 | Project | Browse through the project information model. |
 | Attribute | OPC UA attribute to apply to the selected node. |
 | Format | Format to apply to the selected variable. |
 | Array indexes | Array index of the selected variable. This option appears for array variables only. |
 | Bit index | Index to access the specified bit of the selected variable. |
 | Cancel | Cancel the creation of the dynamic link. Instead of selecting Cancel , you can select a blank area outside the dynamic link browser. |
 | Select | Create a dynamic link with the selected object. |
 | Remove link | Remove the dynamic link. In the event that the dynamic link cannot be removed, Restore link appears. |
