Export a FactoryTalk Optix Application to a folder

Export a
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 to a shared folder to deploy the application to client devices that are not accessible in the network.
TIP: A folder can only contain one
FactoryTalk Optix Application
. Each
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 must use a separate folder.
  1. In
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
    , select the arrow next to
    Save
     to open the drop-down menu and then select
    Export
    FactoryTalk Optix Application to folder
    .
  2. In
    Export to folder
    , complete:
    • Platform
      . Select the operating system of the client device.
    • Location
      . Type the path to the location where you want to save the
      FactoryTalk Optix Application
      . Alternatively, select the folder icon to browse to the folder.
  3. Select
    Export
    .
A progress window displays while the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 is being exported. After the export has completed, a dialog appears to inform you that the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
 was successfully exported to the location specified.
