System object configuration

The properties for these objects override the

FactoryTalk Optix System Manager

at runtime.

System objects

Object	Properties
System	LAN and WAN network interface settings
System.DateTimeConfiguration	System Date, Time, and Time zone. Set these properties manually or through a remote NTP server.
System.WiFiConfiguration	WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi network interface settings

You can manually configure graphic components and logics. For example, link the

DHCP enabled

property to the

Active

property of a switch.

At runtime, network interface properties are automatically added to the

System

object using the

FactoryTalk Optix System Manager

configuration to display the current settings. For example, if a system has a LAN network interface that is configured with two additional IP addresses, at runtime, the

System

object contains a

Network interface

object for the LAN network and a collection of

Additional IP addresses

with two additional IP addresses.
