Measure Output Offset and Record Values - FLEX I/O Calibration
To measure the output offset and record its value:
offset
The steady-state deviation of a controlled variable from a fixed set point. In a linear function (y=mx+b), the parameter (b) is used to drive the dependent variable (y) to zero when the independent variable (x) is zero.
- Measure the voltages/current of the channels by using a multimeter.
- Enter the value, for each channel, in theRecorded Reference (Volts)/(mA)column.
- SelectNextto see the results of the output offset calibration.
The software uses the value entered, calculates the error correction and sends the correction to the module.
You may also select:
- Retryif an error occurs and you need to repeat a step in the calibration process.TIP:This button is only enabled when an error occurs.
- Stopto cancel calibration and exit the calibration.
