Share a local project

FactoryTalk Design Studio provides the option to upload the project in a remote repository and allow others to open the project. You will also be able to store L5X files in a FactoryTalk Vault solution.
IMPORTANT: Private projects are no longer supported. The
Share project
 option is the only supported project type.
To share a local project
:
  2. Open the created project.
  3. Select
    File > Source control > Share project
    to open the
    Make project shared
     dialog box.
  4. In
    Project Location in the FactoryTalk Vault
    , select to share the local project in an existing FactoryTalk Vault solution or to create a FactoryTalk Vault solution.
  5. Select
    Share project
     to convert the local project to a shared project in the FactoryTalk Vault solution.
