Configure a PDF viewer

Add a PDF viewer to insert an empty container for a PDF file and then specify the PDF file to display. You can display PDF files local to the project or remote PDF files.
  1. In
    Project view
    , in
    UI
    , right-click a container and then select
    New
    Contents
    PDF Viewer
    .
  2. In
    Properties
    , set
    Zoom mode
    :
    • Fit width
      . PDF document fits the page width.
    • Fit height
      . PDF document fits the page height.
    • Fit page
      . PDF document fits the page width and height.
    • Actual size
      . Actual size of the PDF document displays in the PDF viewer container.
    • Custom level
      . Specified zoom level of the PDF document displays in the PDF viewer container.
  3. In
    Path
    , either:
    • Select
      Browse
      and select the local PDF file to display.
      TIP:
      To find items, start typing the item name to find in
      Select file
      .
      If the file does not appear in
      Select file
      , select
      Import file(s)
      and in
      Import file(s)
      , select the file to import and then choose
      Select
      .
    • Enter the address of the remote PDF file to display.

      PDF viewer supports these protocols for displaying remote PDF files:
      • http
      • https
  4. (optional) To display the PDF document on a specific page, set
    Current Page
    to the page to display.
    For example, to display the PDF document on page 5, enter

    Appearance
    and
    Size and layout
    properties.
