Rockwell Automation was once again named to Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies list, moving up 19 spots to 72nd for its performance for shareholders, employees, customers, community, and the planet. The list cites Rockwell as one of the top five companies in the categories of Leading Climate Aligned Companies and Leading COVID-19 Response.
Barron’s worked with Calvert Research & Management, which reviewed 1,000 of the largest publicly held U.S. companies by market value and ranked how they performed for five key constituencies: shareholders, employees, customers, community, and the plant. Calvert then evaluated top companies against more than 230 ESG performance indicators, such as workplace diversity, data security and greenhouse-gas emissions.
This is the fourth annual Barron’s ranking of America’s Most Sustainable Companies. To learn more about Rockwell’s sustainability initiatives, visit the company’s 2020 Sustainability Report online content hub.
