Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, will be showcasing solutions that will help companies accelerate innovation at this year’s iT’s Tissue, a unique multi-site event, in Italy.
The event is hosted by the Tissue Italy Network. Founded in 2012 by 12 Italian companies – all leaders in their field – the network was formed to reinforce the branding “made in Italy”, highlighting technological excellence in the Tissue field.
This year’s five-day event provides attendees with the opportunity for half-day experiences at the OEMs of their choice, where the host companies will support a mix of technical discussion, business development and networking.
As the event’s global partner and exclusive automation supplier, Rockwell Automation will have a presence at each of the founding members’ facilities, where it will demonstrate flexible manufacturing, digitalization, analytics, cybersecurity, and workforce connectivity.
According to Vincenzo Monaco, EMEA OEM & Portfolio Marketing Manager at Rockwell Automation: “The tissue industry faces a perfect storm of operational, market and sustainability challenges and, as a result, is an ideal showcase for what can be achieved with a modern, fully integrated digital control and information architecture. We will highlight how our connected solutions – and their resultant data – can be leveraged to cut costs, using analytics and predictive maintenance; and cut time to operation, due to faster start up; all of which will result in increased productivity and OEE.”
The founding companies include: A.Celli Paper S.p.A., E80 Group, Futura S.p.A., Gambini S.p.A., Körber, OMET, PCMC, Pulsar Engineering, Recard S.p.A, IMA TMC S.p.A., and Toscotec. Each company brings its own unique expertise to the industry, with solutions at all production stages, all of which can be enhanced by digitalization.
