Store an Add-On Instruction
Store a group of Add-On Instructions together in two ways:
- Save Add-On Instructions in a project file.
- Create an .L5X export file.
To store an Add-On Instructions
- Identify the instructions to save.
- Place the instructions in a project file with an easily identified name (for example, MyInstructions.ACD).
- Open other projects in additional instances of theLogix Designerapplication.
- Copy and paste a copy of the instruction definitions from one project to another.TIP: If any of the definitions reference the same Add-On Instruction or User-Defined Type, there is only one shared copy in the project file. When coping an Add-On Instruction to another project, any definition referencing the target project is also copied.
