Source Control Status in the Controller Organizer

The diagram shows the
I/O Configuration
and the source control checked out symbol (on the controller folder) in the controller organizer. The checked out symbol indicates that the currently opened project is checked out.
The source control status in also shown in the Quick View Pane. Possible status messages include:
  • Checked out
    - indicates that the currently open project is checked out.
  • Checked out to
    <username>
    on
    <machine>
    in
    <directory>
    - indicates that while the open project itself is not checked out, it is matched within source control to some other user, machine, and location.
  • Under source control
    - indicates that no one has the project checked out, and therefore you have the option of doing so.
  • Not under source control
    - indicates either the currently open project is not under source control, or no association has been successfully drawn to a project under source control.
Note that the source control status is only present when a source control client, such as
RSMACC
or
FactoryTalk
AssetCentre, is installed and functional on the workstation.
