Controller Properties dialog box - Capacity tab for 5x70 controllers
This information applies to the
CompactLogix
5370 and ControlLogix
5570, Compact GuardLogix
5370 and GuardLogix
5570 controllers.Use the
Capacity
tab of the Controller Properties
dialog box to:- When online, view actual memory used by the controller.
- When offline, estimate how much controller memory is required the project.
- For a CompactLogix controller, view the maximum number of Ethernet nodes supported by the controller and number of used Ethernet nodes in the I/O Configuration tree.
TIP:
To open the Capacity tab:
- On theOnlinetoolbar, click theController Propertiesicon.
- On theController Propertiesdialog box, click theCapacitytab.
For each area of controller memory, the application shows the number of bytes of available memory, used memory, and largest free contiguous block of memory. The graph shows the memory total with either green, yellow or red indicating if enough memory is remaining for processor background tasks that require additional memory to operate properly.
