Configure Input Filter 1794-IV16

Use this feature to filter-out transients in noisy environments. Select a value (in milliseconds) by which to filter the transition from On to Off or from Off to On. Values in milliseconds are 0.256, 0.512, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32.
To configure the Input Filter Time on a 1794-IV16:
  1. Select a value (in milliseconds) by clicking on the down arrow in the Input Filter Time (ms) – On->Off Off->On box.
  2. Check or uncheck the Enable Counter check box.
  3. Click:
    • OK to accept your edits and close the dialog.
    • Cancel to cancel your edits and close the dialog.
    • Apply to apply your edits and continue editing.
