ModuleFault

Applies to: Consumed, Servo, Servo Drive and Virtual axes.
ModuleFault is a Boolean attribute. It is set when one of the Module Faults attribute bits is set.
A ModuleFault indicates that a serious fault has occurred with the motion module associated with the selected axis. Usually a ModuleFault affects all axes associated with the motion module.
A ModuleFault generally results in the shutdown of all associated axes. To recover from a Module Fault, you must reconfigure the motion module by clicking on the Reset Module button on the Module Info tab of the motion module properties dialog box.
NOTE: "ModuleFault" and "ModuleFaults" are separate attributes. ModuleFault indicates the occurrence of a fault; ModuleFaults indicates the specific type of module fault that has occurred.
To diagnose a ModuleFault for a Consumed axis type, check the status of ModuleFaults on the Logix Designer application operating the controller to which the Consumed axis is physically connected.
For a Virtual axis type, the value of ModuleFault will always be zero.
The occurrence of a ModuleFault sets bit #1 of the AxisFault attribute.
