Delete Hierarchy Node

Perform the following steps to delete the node:
  1. On the left navigation menu, drop-down the
    Configuration
     menu and click
    Asset Setup
    .
  2. Click the required node from the
    Hierarchy
     list.
  3. Click the [] icon and click
    Delete
    .
    Select Delete Node
  4. In the
    Delete hierarchy node
     dialog, click
    Delete
    .
    Delete Node
    If there is no child node and the Configuration Status is in Draft, then “
    The Asset removed from the hierarchy list successfully
    ” message is displayed.
    NOTE: The user cannot remove the parent node directly. The user should remove the child node first and then delete the parent node from the hierarchy list.
    If the user removes the parent node directly, the following notification message is displayed:
    Notification Message
If the Configuration Status of the node is Active or the user has no access to that node, then the Delete option is disabled.
