Project compatibility

Projects created with previous versions of

FactoryTalk Optix Studio

can also be opened and processed with later versions. When the project is opened,

FactoryTalk Optix Studio

automatically updates the project and all its modules to the current version.

During the update, a backup copy of the original version of the project is created.

IMPORTANT: An updated project cannot be opened by an older version of

FactoryTalk Optix Studio
