Communication Formats: Non-I/O Modules
The modules and corresponding communication formats are listed in the tables below.
TIP:
The default communication formats are shown in bold.
The Communication Format you choose for ControlNet Adapters allows rack-based communication to occur with digital I/O modules in the same chassis as the adapter.
Refer to the Logix 5000 Controllers Common Procedures manual (publication 1756-PM001) for more detailed information on choosing the appropriate Comm Format.
For these modules: | These communication formats are available: |
1734-ACNR/A 1734-AENT/A 1738-ACNR/A 1738-AENT/A 1756-CNB/A 1756-CNB/B 1756-CNB/D 1756-CNBR/A 1756-CNBR/B 1756-CNBR/D 1756-ENBT/A 1756-ENBT/B 1756-ENET/B | Listen Only - Rack Optimization None Tip: For the 1756 Ethernet adapters, there is no default Comm Format, however these 3 formats are available. |
