View PlantPAx Instruction Usage
Use the
Instruction Usage
window to view which PlantPAx and process instructions are used in which tasks. This view provides a way to see the overall distribution of loading on a project for each task.To view PlantPAx Instruction Usage
- Use theCategorycolumn to determine the type of instruction (for example, PlantPAx, Add-On Instruction, Safety, Alarms).
- Use theInstructioncolumn to determine the name of the instruction.
- Use the tasks columns to determine the number of each task in the project.If Tasking Model is enabled, use the columns to determine the number ofFast,Normal,Slow, andSystem tasksin the project.
- Use theTotalcolumns to determine the number of times the instruction is found in all tasks.TIP:Instruction Usage counts exclude instructions found in online edits, unscheduled programs, additional or multiple calls to subroutines, and those that are inaccessible due to source protection.
- Use the bottom row to add a new instruction to theInstruction Usagewindow.TIP:In theCategoryandNamecolumn, type an initial letter to view a drop-down list of names. In theNamecolumn, if an instruction already exists in theInstruction Usagewindow, the instruction will not show in the drop-down list.
- SelectRefreshto view the most recent data. The data does not update automatically.TIP:Select the top left cell and then right-click to selectCopyto copy the data to the clipboard.
- (optional) To hide unused instructions, selectHide unused instructions.
- (optional) To delete a row, right-click the row and selectDelete.TIP:Use one of three options to delete rows:
- Select an individual row.
- Use theCtrlorShiftkeys to select multiple rows.
- Select the top right cell to select all rows.
IMPORTANT:
PlantPAx and process instructions cannot be deleted from the list.
