Create a connection for a sequencing parameter
Use a program parameter to create a connection to make external data available to the
Equipment Sequence
. This allows the configuration of the sequence elements to reference data inside the sequence program.To create a connection for a sequencing parameter:
- In theController Organizer, expand the folder for the program for creating a program parameter connection, and double-clickParameters and Local Tags.
- In theEquipment SequenceParameters and Local Tags
- In thePropertiespane, expandParameter Connections.
- SelectNew Connection.
- Select theBrowse(...) button.
- In theTagbox, select the arrow.
- In theTag Browser, clear the check box forShow controller tagsto limit the number of parameters in the list to the sequence scoped tags.
- In theShow parameters from other programlist, choose the program to connect this input or output parameter.
- In the list of available parameters, double-click the desired parameter.
- SelectOK.
