Feedforward page

Use the settings on the
Feedforward
 page to configure feedforward manual tuning parameters. Use the page to:
  • Enter a value for the velocity feedforward gain.
  • Enter a value for the acceleration feedforward gain.
TIP: To open the Feedforward page:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Motion Groups
     folder, and double-click an axis.
  2. In the lower left of the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, select
    Manual Tune
    .
  3. In the
    Motion Console
     dialog box, select
    Additional Tune > Feedforward
    .
The
Feedforward
 page includes these parameters.
Parameter
Description
Velocity Feedforward
Specify a value for the velocity feedforward gain. The values are in the range of 0 to Max Float.
This parameter appears dimmed when the axis configuration is not set to Position Loop.
Acceleration Feedforward
Specify a value for the acceleration feedforward gain. The values are in the range of 0 to Max Float.
