Rockwell Automation has announced the second cycle of its free TechEd Tuesdays digital training experience, starting on 1st March 2022. Registration is now open.
The first round, which ran in September 2021, proved to be incredibly popular, with more than 300 registrations from OEMs and end users across the EMEA region. This second cycle is anticipated to be just as well received, so users are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
An extension of Rockwell Automation’s TechEd EMEA event, TechEd Tuesdays offer a flexible training experience, which blends theory with practical sessions, for all customers and partners, including system integrators, distributors, OEMs, and end-users.
This second cycle will run for five weeks from 1st March to 4th April 2022, with specialists at Rockwell Automation holding half-day sessions every Tuesday, with four days of self-paced practical session in between.
TechEd Tuesdays will cover five modules (Smart Devices, Smart Machines, Smart Systems, Process Control and IIoT Infrastructure), each of which will include a theoretical session with Q&A, followed by an optional practical session (hands-on labs) the following day.
Jan Van Den Bossche, Senior Director, Technology and Domain Expertise EMEA, Rockwell Automation, explains: “The first round proved to be immensely popular, with such a great spread of attendees from across the regions and company types. We received some very positive feedback on both the format and the content, too, which has helped to shape this second round into an even better opportunity.”
TechEd Tuesdays will leverage Rockwell Automation’s new onCourse digital platform, which gives users access to virtual machines that can then be programmed, operated, and tested as operational digital twins using Rockwell Automation assets.
TechEd Tuesdays will run for one more cycle, in May 2022, with future TechEd events planned for the end of the year. TechEd Tuesdays and the onCourse labs are free for all participants, but spaces for the practical sessions are limited and will operate on a first come, first-served basis. Participants can register here.
