Create retentivity storage
Create a retentivity storage data store to retain data of specific project nodes.
TIP:
For some property values, you can use dynamic links. For more information, see Create dynamic links.
- Create the retentivity storage object:
- In theProject Viewpane, right-clickRetentivity.
- Select.
- (optional) In thePropertiespane, inName, selectto rename the storage.Edit
- Add a project node to retain its data:
- In thePropertiespane, next toNodes, select.Add
- (optional) Selectto rename the node.Edit
- (optional) Expand the node. InKind, select
and create a dynamic link.
- (optional) Expand the node. InNodeClass, select the class of the node or select
and create a dynamic link.
- Specify how often new data from the selected project nodes is saved by doing one of the following:
- InWrite delay, enter milliseconds by selecting.Edit
- InWrite delay, select
and create a dynamic link.
- Determine if you want to retain only the changes that are already stored by doing one of the following:
- InDelta observer enabled, set the value.
- InDelta observer enabled, select
