Configure controller routing

Complete this procedure before importing tags from Beckhoff ® TwinCAT® controllers.
  1. On the TwinCAT® controller machine:
  2. Obtain the AMS Net Id value.
    TIP: You will use the AMS Net Id value later when configuring a communication driver in
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
    .
  3. Add a route for each device connected to the controller. Use these settings:
    • Address Info. Enter the IP address of the target device for a
      FactoryTalk Optix Application
      .
    • AmsNetId. The same address as in Address Info with
      .1.1
       appended at the end.
    • Target route. Set to Static.
    • Remote route. Set to None/Server.
    • SecureADS. Disable.
