Dropping locator
The dropping locator depicts a tool window's possible docking position as you drag the window across the
Logix Designer
interface. In the dropping locator, docking location indicators show the possible docking locations for the tool window.

When you drag the cursor into the dropping locator, the docking position is highlighted to indicate the new location for the window.
If you do not move the cursor into the dropping locator to select a docking position, the tool window floats.
