HMI navigation for PMTR

Use the
Navigation
tab on the
PMTR Properties
 dialog box to configure navigation from the HMI to additional devices or destinations for Process Motor (PMTR) instructions.
To enable HMI navigation for PMTR instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Under the
    HMI
    tab, select
    Navigation
    .
  3. (Optional) To allow navigation to a device or destination from the HMI faceplate, select
    Allow navigation
     for each device.
  4. In the
    Device object
    tag name box, enter the controller path and the device tag. For example, the object tag name for an overload relay object could be /North_Area::[ProcessStrategies]M101_Ovld.
  5. When online with the controller, monitor the
    Device state
     and
    Device issues
     indicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
    • Device state
      . Displays the current device state, such as
      Running
      ,
      Stopped
      , or
      Out of service
      .
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions, such as
      Fail to start
       or
      Configuration error
      .
  6. Select
    Apply
    .
