Select the communication software edition

Select the communication software edition that launches in the
Who Active
 dialog box and displays the network topology.
TIP:
Close open projects and multiple sessions of
Logix Designer
 before selecting the communication software.
To select the communication software edition
  1. Select
    Communications > Select Communication Software
    .
  2. In the
    Select Communication Software
     dialog box, select
    RSLinx Classic
     or
    FactoryTalk Linx
     and click
    OK
    .
  3. If switching to
    FactoryTalk Linx
    , when a verification message appears, select
    OK
    .
