Applies to: Servo axes.
ServoFault is a 32-bit attribute. Its value is set upon the occurrence of any of the following faults. Click a fault in the following list for information about that fault.

The occurrence of a ServoFault sets the PhysicalAxisFault attribute and bit #0 of the AxisFault attribute.
To clear a ServoFault, you must diagnose and clear the underlying fault. The following instructions can be used to clear both the underlying fault and the ServoFault:
- Fault Reset (MAFR) instruction, to clear all motion faults for an axis.
- In the case of a shutdown, a Shutdown Reset (MASR) instruction, to return to an axis ready operating state.
- For a grouped axis: Motion Group Shutdown Reset (MGSR) instruction, to transition a group of axes from the shutdown operating state to the axis ready operating state.
