MILWAUKEE, October 7, 2021 /3BL Media/ - Rockwell Automation’s (NYSE: ROK) Asia Pacific Business Center (APBC) and Poland Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team have each won awards from regional safety organizations.
For the 10th year, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) honored Rockwell’s Asia Pacific Business Center located in Singapore. This year both organizations recognized the APBC with the Workplace Safety & Health Silver Award. Together MOM and WSHC annually honor those organizations and individuals that demonstrate excellence in workplace safety and health.
“Winning the award reinforces our efforts in driving continuous improvement in the areas of safety and health,” said Rockwell’s Steven Goh, vice president and general manager, APBC. “Every employee’s pair of eyes helped us look for hazards and we eliminated those hazards by doing risk assessments.”
Added Rockwell’s Dhananjay Gadgil, director, Asia Pacific Manufacturing. “Employees have been doing their part whole heartedly in taking care of themselves, visitors, vendors, contractors, customers, and the community.”
In Poland, Rockwell’s EHS team received first place in the “Health and Safety – The Best Employer Advisor” competition organized by the Regional Labor Government Inspector and Regional Health and Safety Workers’ Association. The award recognized the Rockwell team for its efforts to build and maintain high standards, a safety culture, and best practices in daily EHS activities.
