Planner page
Use the settings on the
Planner
page in the Axis Properties
dialog box to configure the planner options for the actual motor.
TIP:
To open the Planner page:
- In theController Organizer, expand theMotion Groupsfolder, then right-click the axis and selectProperties.
- From theAxis Propertiesdialog box, inCategories, selectPlanner.
Parameters | Description |
---|---|
Maximum Speed | Enter a value in Position units/s for the maximum speed of the motor. Tip: Can use this value in an instruction where the speed is a percentage of the maximum speed. |
Maximum Acceleration | Enter a value in Position units/s^2 for the maximum acceleration of the motor. Tip: Can use this value in an instruction where the speed is a percentage of the maximum acceleration. |
Maximum Deceleration | Enter a value in Position units/s^2 for the maximum deceleration of the motor. Tip: Can use this value in an instruction where the speed is a percentage of the maximum deceleration. |
Maximum Acceleration Jerk | Enter a value in Position units/s^3 for the maximum acceleration jerk of the motor. Tip: Can use this value in an instruction where the speed is a percentage of the maximum acceleration jerk. |
Maximum Deceleration Jerk | Enter a value in Position units/s^3 for the maximum deceleration jerk of the motor. Tip: Can use this value in an instruction where the speed is a percentage of the maximum deceleration jerk. |
Output Cam Execution Targets | Select a value for the number of output cam execution targets. |
Calculate | Select Calculate to quickly calculate the acceleration or deceleration jerk values using the maximum percentage of the acceleration or deceleration of time values, respectively.Calculate buttons are only available in online mode. |
Parameters | Opens the Motion Axis Parameters page to modify existing or additional parameters.Tip: The Parameter List page may contain more attributes than the associated page. In some cases, attributes that display on the Parameter List page do not display on the associated page. |
