Failed to create the module

There was a problem creating the module. The error message you received indicates one of the following conditions:

The slot chosen for the module is not within the chassis size.

You chose a slot that is outside of the current chassis size. Reenter a slot with the current chassis size.

The node chosen for the module is not within the current network.

You chose a node that is outside of the current network range. Reenter a node with the network range.

The controller is locked.

The controller is locked. No additional modules can be created until the controller is unlocked.

The slot is no longer available.

You chose a slot that is unavailable. Choose another slot and retry.

The module being created is not valid under the current parent.

You chose a module that can not be created under the current parent port. Check your module configuration.

The parent was deleted.

You chose to create a module that requires a parent that has not been configured. Add the parent module to your configuration and recreate the module.
