Change active steps in an Equipment Sequence
The
Change Active Step
command is a way to change the set of
active elements within an executing sequence. The sequence must be in
Manual
mode so transitions will not fire and change the set
of steps that are active. Before you begin:
- Go online with the controller.
- In the Sequence Editor, open anEquipment Sequence.
To change the active step in an
Equipment Sequence
:- SelectTake Ownershipto take ownership of theEquipment Sequence.
- (optional) Start theEquipment Sequence.
- Select to go intoManualmode.
- Inactivate the active step by selecting the step, and use theSTOPorABORTcommand.
- Once the step isSTOPPEDorABORTED, use theRESETcommand to put the step into the IDLE state.
- Once the step is in theIDLEstate, place it on theSteps to deactivatelist using one of these methods:
- SelectAddand select the step's check box.
- Select the step, invoke the menu with a right click, then selectChange Active Step > Add to deactivate list.
- Add a step to theSteps to activatelist using one of the following methods.
- SelectAddand check the step's check box.
- Select the step, invoke the context menu with a right click, then selectChange Active Step > Add to activate list.
- SelectApplyto commit the change to active steps. The steps to become deactivated become INACTIVE, and the steps to be activated become IDLE.
- Select the icon to go back toAutomaticmode.
- Select the icon to start theEquipment Sequence.
