FBD Element Toolbar
The
Function Block Diagram Element
toolbar is a tabbed toolbar that shows instructions and functions as tabbed categories on the toolbar. Click a category tab to show that category of instructions on the toolbar. Tooltips on the toolbar indicate the intended use for each tool. Move the cursor over an instruction or function and the tooltip appears.
This toolbar also has two scrollbars: one for the tabbed instruction groups, and one for the instructions within a group. Click these scrollbars to move through the groups or instructions. To resize the toolbar, drag on its left or right edges.
TIP:
Function Block functions are available only on CompactLogix 5380, CompactLogix 5480, ControlLogix 5580, Compact GuardLogix 5380, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers.
TIP:
In Logix Designer releases 37 and later, you can use the Instruction Toolbox to add instructions and functions in a Function Block Diagram.
