Enter Module References in the Ladder Editor

Two types of module references display in the
Module Browser
:
  • The
    Parameters
     folder at the top lists any Program InOut Parameters of the MODULE data type.
  • The
    I/O Configuration
     folder lists the available modules.
To enter a module reference in the Ladder Editor
  1. In the instruction, choose
    Module
     for the
    Class Name
    .
  2. Perform one of these actions in the GSV or SSV instruction:
    • Type the name for the program's module reference parameter or module into
      Instance Name
      .
    • Select the down arrow
      Instance Name
       and choose a module reference parameter or module from the in-place Module Browser.
