PVLV HMI command buttons
Use the
Command configuration
tab on the PVLV Properties
dialog box to label the HMI command buttons for Process Valve (PVLV) instructions.To label HMI command buttons for PVLV instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Under theHMItab, selectCommand configuration.
- For each HMI command, enter these labels. The labels appear on the HMI.
- In theCommand buttonbox, enter the label for the command; for example, Open, Close or Stop.
- In theDelayed targetbox, enter text that appears when the target state is delayed; for example, Commanded to close, Commanded to open.
- In theTarget statebox, enter the text to show for the target state; for example, Opened, Closed or Stopped.
- In theTransition statebox, enter the text to show during the transition state; for example, Opening, Closing or Stopping.
- When online with the controller, monitor theDevice stateandDevice issuesindicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
- Device state. Displays the current valve state, such asPulse continuouslyorOut of service.
- Device issues. Displays fault conditions, such asFeedback faultorTransit stall.
- SelectApply.
