PVLV HMI command buttons

Use the
Command configuration
tab on the
PVLV Properties
dialog box to label the HMI command buttons for Process Valve (PVLV) instructions.
To label HMI command buttons for PVLV instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Under the
    HMI
    tab, select
    Command configuration
    .
  3. For each HMI command, enter these labels. The labels appear on the HMI.
    • In the
      Command button
      box, enter the label for the command; for example, Open, Close or Stop.
    • In the
      Delayed target
      box, enter text that appears when the target state is delayed; for example, Commanded to close, Commanded to open.
    • In the
      Target state
      box, enter the text to show for the target state; for example, Opened, Closed or Stopped.
    • In the
      Transition state
      box, enter the text to show during the transition state; for example, Opening, Closing or Stopping.
  4. When online with the controller, monitor the
    Device state
    and
    Device issues
    indicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
    • Device state
      . Displays the current valve state, such as
      Pulse continuously
      or
      Out of service
      .
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions, such as
      Feedback fault
      or
      Transit stall
      .
  5. Select
    Apply
    .
