PVSD speed ref and feedback scaling
Use the
Advanced Speed Scaling
tab of the PVSD Properties
dialog box to configure the speed reference and speed feedback scaling parameters for the Process Variable Speed Drive (PVSD) instruction. To configure speed reference and feedback scaling parameters for PVSD instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Select the arrow next toAdvancedand then selectSpeed scaling.
- Set the parameters:
- Feedback raw input. Enter values for the maximum and minimum speed feedback input signal from the drive in drive (raw) units.
- Feedback scaled EU. Enter values for the maximum and minimum speed feedback in engineering (display) units. These values scale the speed feedback input from drive units to display units.
- Reference scaled EU. Enter values for the maximum and minimum speed reference in engineering (display) units.
- Reference raw output. Enter values for the maximum and minimum speed reference output signal to the drive in drive (raw) units. These values scale the speed reference output from display units to drive units.
- Speed Reference limits.
- Max.Enter values for the maximum speed reference clamping limits, in engineering (display) units. The speed reference is clamped to keep it within these limits when the drive is running.
- Min.Enter values for the minimum speed reference clamping limits, in engineering (display) units. The speed reference is clamped to keep it within these limits when the drive is running.
- Jog. Enter a value for the speed reference in engineering (display) units to use when the drive is jogging.
- View the read-only parameters:
- Speed feedback.Shows speed feedback from drive in engineering (display) units.
- Speed reference.Shows speed reference to drive in engineering (display) units.
- Device state. When theLogix Designerapplication is online with the controller, the indicator displays the current device state, such as Stopped, Running, or Out of service.
- Device issues. When theLogix Designerapplication is online with the controller, the indicator displays fault conditions, such as Drive fault or I/O fault.
- SelectApply.
