View information for a plug-in

The Plug-In Manager dialog box lists detailed information about plug-ins installed with
Logix Designer
 application.
To view information for a plug-in:
  1. On the
    Tools
     menu, click
    Plug-in Manager
    .
  2. Select a plug-in from the list. Plug-ins appear in this list if they are registered for the current version of
    Logix Designer
     application or if custom properties for the plug-ins exist in the project.
    The following information appears for each plug-in.
    • Description
      : Plug-in descriptions. When you select a plug-in, its description appears here. The Description field is blank for plug-ins that are not registered.
    • Version
      : The current version of the selected plug-in.
    • Status
      : Indicates whether the selected plug-in is registered or not registered with the current version of
      Logix Designer
       application. Also indicates failed registrations for plug-ins with invalid configurations.
    • Has Custom Properties
      : Indicates whether custom properties exist in the project for the selected plug-in.
      Yes
       indicates that the project contains custom properties for the selected plug-in.
      No
       indicates that either no project file has been loaded, or the loaded project does not contain custom properties for the selected plug-in.
