Two-day educational event brings automation professionals together to learn about manufacturing solutions through technical sessions and hands-on labs
TORONTO – Rockwell Automation is hosting over 600 customers and academia professionals from 11 colleges and universities today and tomorrow at its Rockwell Automation on the Move technical education event in Toronto. The event focuses on enabling smart manufacturing through The Connected Enterprise by linking intelligent assets and optimizing industrial operations to help make manufacturers more globally competitive and productive.
Attendees will gain valuable information and training on how to modernize and streamline operations, as well as practical experience working with products, services and solutions through technical sessions, hands-on labs and technology exhibits from Rockwell Automation and members of its PartnerNetwork program.
This year’s event also includes a series of keynote presentations from Rockwell Automation leaders, sharing information about the company strategy and commitment to technology, including its focus on growing a healthy talent pipeline and strengthening ties between industry and academia.
“As technology continues to revolutionize manufacturing, we recognize its future depends on the students of today,” said Tessa Myers, vice president of North America Sales, Services and Solutions, Rockwell Automation. “We are excited to share the latest technology and training with these educators and provide them with the opportunity to interface directly with our customers and partners.”
Geared toward manufacturing and production professionals, equipment builders, system integrators and academia, attendees can earn professional development hours (PDH) for attending the educational sessions offered.
Attendance is free. Registration details and more information can be found on the Rockwell Automation website.
