Incorrect module

There is a problem communicating with the module – some expected features do not exist.
module
A device, typically an I/O device, that communicates with the controller. The controller, a particular 1756-IB16I or a PanelView are all considered modules.
There may be a module identity mismatch or improper configuration. Check if the following conditions are present.
  • An incorrect slot was configured for the module.
  • Electronic Keying is disabled ("Disabled Keying" was chosen); an incorrect revision of the module may be in use.

    The major and minor revision of the controller separated by a period.
  • If the module is a 1756-DHRIO, ensure that the Channel type selected in the software (DH+ or RIO) matches the module’s rotary switch settings.
  • If the module is being accessed via a 1756-MODULE, then the physical module may not support the specific backplane diagnostic feature.
