ALMD Properties dialog box - Status tab parameters
Use this screen to monitor and acknowledge alarms. The upper pane shows the current alarm status .
All time stamps are stored as UTC time in the controller. The
Logix Designer
application converts them to local time for display purposes only, using the current workstation’s time zone settings. The Status tab parameters are:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
In Alarm Time | Displays the time stamp of the most recent alarm active condition, in the time zone of the current workstation (InAlarmTime tag value). |
Acknowledge Time | Displays the time stamp of the most recent alarm acknowledgment, in the time zone of the current workstation (AckTime tag value). If this value is the same as the In Alarm Time, then the alarm does not require acknowledgment. |
Return to Normal Time | Displays the time stamp of the most recent transition out of the In Alarm state, in the time zone of the current workstation (RetToNormalTime tag value). |
Shelve Time | Displays a time stamp indicating when the alarm was shelved the last time (ShelveTime tag value). Shelving an alarm postpones alarm processing. Similar to suppressing an alarm, except
that shelving is time-limited. If an alarm is acknowledged while it is shelved, it
remains acknowledged even if it becomes active again. The alram becomes unacknowledged
when the shelve duration ends, provided the alarm is still active. |
Unshelve Time | Displays a time stamp indicating when the alarm is going to be unshelved (UnshelveTime tag value). |
Alarm Count Reset Time | Displays a time stamp indicating the last time the alarm count was reset (AlarmCountResetTime tag value). The time stamp is in the time zone of the current workstation. |
Count | Indicates the number of times the alarm has become Active (AlarmCount tag value). |
Reset Alarm Count | Reset the alarm count. Sets AlarmCountResetTime and AlarmCount tag values to zero. |
