1
Inhibit equipment sequence
Select the
Inhibit equipment sequence
check box to prevent the controller from executing this
Equipment Sequence
. Clear the check box and the controller will execute the
Equipment Sequence
. The check box is clear by default. If the
Equipment Sequence
is inhibited, n
Equipment Sequence
icon displays in the
Controller Organizer
with the inhibited decorator:
2
Retain sequence ID when resetting sequence
Select this option to retain the sequence ID when resetting the
Equipment Sequence
. If this is not selected, a RESET command clears the Sequence ID value of an
Equipment Sequence
.
3
Generate sequence events
Select this option to generate sequencing events that record the manufacturing process. This includes operator commands, changes in sequence attributes, and changes in sequencing parameters and step tag values.
4
Unit ID
The Unit ID is an integer value assigned to represent the equipment unit the sequence is coordinating. This value is recorded with sequence events to identify the equipment coordinated.
For parameters and step tags using initial value as the value source:
5
When starting sequence
  • When initializing sequencing parameters and step tags when starting a sequence, there are two options:
    • Use initial value of the tag:
Select this option to reinitialize all sequencing parameter and step tag values with their configured Initial Value when a START command is sent to the
      Equipment Sequence
      .
    • Use current value of the tag:
Select this option to retain the value of all sequencing parameter and step tag values when a START command is sent to the
      Equipment Sequence
      .
6
When resetting sequence
  • When resetting an Equipment Sequence, there are two options:
    • Restore the tag to its initial value:
Select this option to reinitialize all sequencing parameter and step tag values with their configured Initial Value when a RESET command is sent to the sequence.
    • Maintain current value of the tag:
Select this option to retain the value of all sequencing parameter and step tag values when a RESET command is sent to the sequence.
OK
Select to accept edits. If all attributes are valid, the modified attributes save for the current Equipment Sequence and the dialog box closes.
OK
and
Apply
are not available if the dialog box contains invalid data.
Cancel
Select to cancel edits and close the
Equipment Sequence Properties
dialog box.
Apply
Select to apply edits and continue editing in the
Equipment Sequence Properties
dialog box. Applying edits runs the same validation as clicking
OK
.
