Use drag-and-drop to schedule and unschedule programs in the Controller Organizer

You can use drag-and-drop in the
Logical Organizer
to create a logical model that is organized in terms of procedures, objects, functions, equipment, or other more natural terms and concepts. You can then use drag-and-drop to apply this logical model in the
Controller Organizer
.
TIP:
If FactoryTalk Security is enabled, you need FactoryTalk Security permissions to create and delete items in the
Controller Organizer
and the
Logical Organizer
.
Apply the logical model to the Controller Organizer
You can schedule and unschedule programs and routines in the
Controller Organizer
by creating your logical model in the
Logical Organizer
, and then dragging part or all of your logical model from the
Logical Organizer
to the
Controller Organizer
. For example, you can create a
Logical Organization
of programs for Mixers as shown below. In the
Controller Organizer
, the programs are initially unscheduled.
NOTE:
Reorganize_LO_to_CO_1_v31
You can then drag-and-drop Mixers from the
Logical Organizer
to the
Controller Organizer
to schedule the programs under MainTask. Note that Mixers is a folder in the
Logical Organizer
, and does not appear in the
Controller Organizer
.
NOTE:
Reorganize_LO_to_CO_4_v31
