PVSD HMI Datalinks
Use the
HMI Datalinks configuration
tab on the PVSD Properties
dialog box to enter datalink information provided by the Process Variable Speed Drive (PVSD) instruction to label HMI faceplates.To enter HMI datalink information for Process Variable Speed Drive (PVSD) instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Select the arrow next toHMIand then selectDatalinks configuration.
- Set the parameters:
- Input datalink label. Type the label to show with the input datalink value.
- Output datalink label. Type the label to show with the output datalink value.
- Engineering units.
- Input datalink. Units of measure to display for the input datalink value.
- Output datalink. Units of measure to display for the output datalink value.
- Number of decimal places for.
- Input datalink. Type the number of digits after the decimal to use when displaying input datalink values. Valid values are 0 to 6.
- Output datalink. Type the number of digits after the decimal to use when displaying output datalink values. Valid values are 0 to 6.
- View the read-only parameters:
- Device state. When the Logix Designer application is online with the controller, the indicator displays the current device state, such as Stopped, Running, or Out of service.
- Device issues. When the Logix Designer application is online with the controller, the indicator displays fault conditions, such as Drive fault or I/O fault.
- SelectApply.
