Company to demonstrate solutions for flexible, modular production to help improve time to market
MILWAUKEE, April 9, 2018 – Faced with globalization, intense competition and strict regulatory guidelines, life science companies are implementing smart manufacturing technologies that connect processes, facilities, business systems and suppliers. Professionals from Rockwell Automation will present advanced automation solutions to address these issues at INTERPHEX, April 17-19, in New York.
Attendees who visit the Rockwell Automation booth (#3565), will witness how they can bring the facility of the future to life, using digital and automation technologies to help improve quality and compliance and manage data integrity and security. Additionally, attendees will learn about single use technologies that allow manufacturers to improve flexibility and reduce footprint, helping to speed time-to-market.

As part of the INTERPHEX keynote series, Mark Cristiano, manager for the North America business development team, connected services and solutions, Rockwell Automation, will discuss how to achieve data integrity in manufacturing automation systems, cybersecurity and security system audit best practices on April 18, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., on the Innovation Stage.
Rockwell Automation will also lead three technical presentations:
Flexible Manufacturing with Single Use Systems, April 17 – Cory Garlick, life sciences industry manager, and Brian English, single use technology subject matter specialist, will discuss incorporating flexible and scalable manufacturing systems that use a single, scalable architecture designed to fit the business needs of biopharma and life science companies.
FactoryTalk Analytics Project Scio: Where Information Transforms to Value, April 18 – Brian Vogel, sales executive, will present how to gain value from production data through the FactoryTalk Analytics platform, by allowing users to securely access any existing data source to create customized, actionable information.
Automation, Integration and Security: Case Studies on Integration of PAT into a Modern DCS, April 19 – Steve Shaw, strategic account manager, will discuss how to increase operator efficiency and productivity with access to real-time, actionable data in a secure network infrastructure. Examples will be shared for small to large PAT applications.
