Select a keyboard
Set the default virtual keyboard for a presentation engine and set specific virtual
keyboards for specific graphic objects with text input.
TIP:
You can only select virtual keyboards at design
time.
Prerequisites
To apply a custom virtual keyboard, configure a custom virtual keyboard. See Configure a custom keyboard.
- To apply a keyboard
- SetVirtual keyboardto either:
- Built-in. The default virtual keyboard available only for the native presentation engine.
- Custom. Customizable virtual keyboard available for both the native presentation engine and web presentation engine. For more information, see Configure a custom keyboard.
For more information, see Configure presentation engines. - (optional) Set specific virtual keyboards for specific graphic objects:
- InProject view, select a graphic object that allows you to input text.For example, select a text box. See Text box.
- At the top ofProperties, selectand then selectKeyboard.
- FromKeyboard type, select a custom or a built-in virtual keyboard.
