Measure and Record Values Tab - FLEX I/O Analog
This tab provides a means for you to measure the output offset value for FLEX I/O analog modules, and record the value.
offset
The steady-state deviation of a controlled variable from a fixed set point. In a linear function (y=mx+b), the parameter (b) is used to drive the dependent variable (y) to zero when the independent variable (x) is zero.
There is only one field that you can modify, which is
Recorded Reference (Volts)/(mA)
. This is the field in which you enter the value of the measured output. After you enter the value, you can then use the following buttons to perform your desired action:
Retry
Select this button if an error occurs and you need to repeat a step in the calibration process.
TIP:
This button is only enabled when an error occurs.
Next
Select this button to see the results of the output offset calibration.
Stop
Select this button to cancel calibration and exit the calibration.
