ALMA and ALMD Properties dialog box - Parameters tab

Use this dialog box to monitor and change alarm tag element values.
Parameters are:
Parameter
Description
Parameter Pane
The upper pane is similar to a tag monitor window for the alarm tag. Columns in the Parameter Pane:
  • Vis
    : Controls the Visibility of alarm tag elements on a Function Block instruction. Edit this column only when opening the ALMD Properties from a Function Block ALMD instruction.
  • Name
    : Displays the name of the ALARM_DIGITAL tag element.
  • Value
    : Displays and allows editing the value of the ALARM_DIGITAL tag element.
  • Type
    : Displays the data type of the ALARM_DIGITAL tag element.
  • Description
    : Displays the description of the ALARM_DIGITAL tag element.
  • Insert Instruction Defaults
    : Resets the Vis and Value columns to the user-stored default values.
  • Insert Factory Defaults
    : Resets the Vis and Value columns to Factory default values.
  • Save Instruction Defaults
    : Lets you store the current values as the instruction defaults.
ALARM Structure Definition
Refer to the structure definition for ALARM_ANALOG tags for descriptions of the analog tag elements and alarm execution.
Refer to the structure definition for ALARM_DIGITAL tags for descriptions of the digital tag elements and alarm execution.
Status Pane
The Status pane shows the alarm state. Acknowledge all alarms and disable or enable an alarm from this pane.
All Acknowledged, Any Shelved, Disabled, and Suppressed indicators are blue when true (meaning all alarms were acknowledged, at least one alarm is shelved, all alarms were disabled, and at least one alarm is suppressed, respectively).
