Create an equipment phase
Use this procedure to create an equipment phase.
To create an equipment phase:
- InName, enter a name for the equipment phase.
- InDescription, enter a description of the phase (optional).
- From theSchedule inmenu, choose the task in which to schedule the equipment phase.The list will contain only those tasks in which the equipment phase can be scheduled.TIP:If creating the equipment phase by right-clicking a task in theController Organizer, the chosen task is already selected in this field.
- SelectInhibit Equipment Phaseto prevent the controller from executing this equipment phase.If selected, the equipment phase is still prescanned. If the equipment phase is then enabled when the controller is already in Run mode, the equipment phase is not prescanned again.
- (optional) If necessary, note theparentprogram displayed for the equipment phase.
- SelectSynchronize Redundancy Data after Executionto synchronize data at the end of the phase execution.
- SelectOKto create the equipment phase.
