Function Block Properties Dialog Box - RET Properties
The Return (RET) instruction conditionally terminates execution of a subroutine and returns parameters to the Jump to Subroutine (JSR) instruction that invoked it.
Use the
RET Properties
tab of the Function Block Properties
dialog box to set the values for the parameters of the selected RET instruction.The following table describes the parameter attributes available on the
RET Properties
tab:Attributes | Description |
Parameters | Enter a tag name to be used for the parameter. You can enter a tag name by typing it directly into the box, or by choosing an available tag from the tag browser, which appears when you click the pull-down menu. You must start a pending edit to modify the routine name. |
OK | Click this button to add the selected item in the instruction list to the routine and close the Function Block Properties dialog box.If you are online, the changes are sent to the controller when you accept the pending edit. |
Cancel | Click this button to cancel any edits you have made and close the Function Block Properties dialog box. |
Apply | Click this button to accept your changes and continue editing in the Function Block Properties dialog box.If you are online, the changes are sent to the controller when you accept the pending edit. |
