Specifying Sheet Layout for a Routine
Use this dialog box to specify the sheet size and orientation for the selected routine. All sheets within a routine are changed to reflect any modifications made on this tab.
![]() | Tip: The sheet layout of FBD routines and Sequential Function Charts can be modified online, and the current layout of any routine can be viewed online. |
To specify the sheet size and orientation for a selected routine:
- From the Sheet size menu, choose the size of the sheet to use for this routine.Tip: Included within the sheet size of the routine is an assumed margin around the sheet. This margin is equal to ½ inch, or the minimum value supported by your printer, whichever is greater, plus the header and footer region. Therefore, the actual sheet size available for the routine is whatever size you choose from the Sheet size pull-down menu, minus the size of the margin. This is the actual area that can contain logic.
- Select the sheet orientation to use for this routine. ChooseLandscape(the default setting) orPortrait.
- SelectOKto apply edits and close the dialog box.Tip: Changing the sheet size or orientation of an existing sheet within a routine can cause some of the elements within the routine to not fit within the new sheet size or orientation. If this is the case, theLogix Designerapplication rearranges these elements to fit the new size or orientation. If you do not like the new arrangement, revert to the old layout.
