Hands-on Labs, Technical Sessions & Forums
The Automation Fair® event offers hands-on labs, technical sessions and industry forums that give you opportunities to learn best practices for your operations. New for this year, you will be able to register ahead of time for all sessions. After you register for the event, you can sign up for industry forums, hands-on labs and technical sessions in advance to help plan your day before you get onsite.
The popular hands-on labs, offered up to four times a day, allow you to work directly with Rockwell Automation products. Technical sessions are 60-minute presentations from leading industry and product specialists.

Engineering Our Future
At booth #359, students will showcase their innovative ideas by demonstrating their robots for attendees. FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a unique varsity sport of the mind that's designed to help young people see how interesting and rewarding it is to be an engineer.
Through programs such as FIRST, Rockwell Automation is building connections to support STEM education as well as corporate sustainability.
FIRST offers a progression of programs from the high school FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), to FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) and Junior FLL. Learn more about FIRST.
New Location for User Experience
For the fourth consecutive year, members of the Rockwell Automation User Experience Community will be gathering your feedback on the tools you use to do your job. This year, customers who use Rockwell Automation product selection, configuration and quoting tools — such as Integrated Architecture Builder® (IAB), ProposalWorks™, and Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC) — are invited to participate in user research activities in the same booth where they learn about these tools!
Take this opportunity to have a stronger voice in shaping the future of the Rockwell Automation tools that you need to do your job. Collaborate with the Rockwell Automation User Experience Community in the Product Selection, Configuration, and Quoting Booth, #1051.
