MILWAUKEE, Feb. 21, 2012 — Summit Media Group’s Automation World magazine has named Rockwell Automation to its First Team in multiple categories for the magazine’s 2011 Leadership in Automation Program. Automation World, the leading business magazine serving automation professionals, launched this community-based program in January 2011. Automation professionals were invited to vote for their favorite automation vendors in aided and unaided recall surveys.

- Variable frequency drives

Up to seven companies are being honored per category. Nearly four dozen categories are featured, representing the variety of automation technologies, software and products in use by today’s manufacturing professionals across the discrete, batch and process manufacturing industries.
